New center of culture and art in Niterói

Quintal Centro Cultural is a creative and welcoming cultural coworking space, where artists and the public are invited to feel at home. The culture center offers space for rehearsals, recordings, exhibitions and various events, with options for individual space rentals or monthly contract, becoming one of the residents.

It is located at Rua Américo Oberlaender, nº 580, in the Santa Rosa neighborhood, and will be open from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, on Saturdays, from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, and on Sundays only on demand for events and rentals (the schedules may change for holding events).

The house has a very well equipped theater prepared for theatrical presentations, lectures, rehearsals, recordings and other events and with capacity for up to 80 people.

The space is fully air-conditioned, well lit, with easy access for people with limited mobility, complete dressing room, mezzanine with modern equipment, security cameras, emergency exits and a stage to receive any type of presentation.

The Cultural Center also has a multipurpose room and a neuropsychopedagogy room for rent. The multipurpose room has an area of 15m², with projector, ambient lighting and LED profile and can be used for rehearsals, meetings, courses, workshops, exhibitions, among other activities.

The neuropsychopedagogy room is a dynamic, welcoming and fun space for educational, artistic, recreational or multidisciplinary workshops. The room is versatile, and also allows the work of professionals in education, learning, motor skills, drawing, storytelling, psychology and many others. All spaces in the Quintal can be rented for a single hour, for a full or half day, or for a month.

The outdoor area of the cultural center also has activities for everyone, especially children, such as tic-tac-toe, treasure hunt, labyrinth, hangman, “aqua toy”, adedonha and others, in addition to wooden installations.

“The interactive walls are installations where some murals have a more entertainment intention, with old and analog games, and others are a way for everyone to leave a little bit of themselves in the backyard and be part of the space. It was something I thought to be a cozy, fun, collective place, and that would make us go back to not being on our cell phones all the time”, says the creator of Quintal, Larissa Lopes.

The house still has the gastronomic resident, Café de Quintal, a cafeteria and snack bar with a full menu, with savory snacks, sweets, hot and cold drinks. It will open on the same day as the Quintal, this Friday (19) and will be open to all audiences.
