After a forced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Praça dos Esportes e da Cultura in Jardim União, in Diadema, will once again receive the programming of the Circuito Sesc de Artes. The activities, all free, will be held from 4 pm to 10 pm and include music, literature, visual arts, cinema, theater and circus.
Held by the São Caetano Social Service of Commerce (Sesc) in partnership with the Diadema Department of Culture, the event aims to decentralize Sesc’s activities. “With the advance of vaccination and the drop in the numbers of the pandemic, we can increasingly bring to the population of Diadema more and new options for cultural, leisure and entertainment activities”, said the Secretary of Culture, Francisco de Assis Cardoso. .
The program includes the Making Beats experimentation workshop. Still on music, there will be a presentation by DJ Master San, with Festando na Rua: Reggae da Lua. Grupo Raconto performs the Telhado de Histórias, a reading mediation. The Balls Circuit is an intervention in the field of visual arts where those present will get to know how to play with a Ball Gadget, an activity guided by Renato Barboza.
The theatrical presentation is on behalf of the Xama group, which comes straight from Maranhão, with the production A Carroça é Nossa. Andrea Macera and Caco Matos form Teatro da Mafalda and perform the circus show Cabare da Mafalda. The interactive cine concert with Grupo Experimental de Música promises a different cinema experience. All activities take place at Avenida Afonso Monteiro da Cruz, 254. In case of rain, check and confirm the schedule at www.sescsp.org.br/circuitosescdeartes.
