  • Bahia Nautical Congress

Starting on Tuesday (30), the Nautical Terminal will host the Bahia Nautical Congress on August 30 and 31, at Av. da França, in the Comércio district. Tickets can be purchased through this link. Check the full schedule here link.

  • Peripheral Echoes Seminar

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Bahia Visual Arts Salons, the Cultural Foundation (Funceb) will hold the Ecos Periféricos seminar between August 31 and September 2, with free admission, at the Bahia Arts Museum, in the Victory. Check the full schedule here link.

  • Bahia Symphony Orchestra – Futurível tickets

On August 31, at 8 pm, in the Main Room of the Castro Alves Theater, the Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia performs the first edition of the “Futurível” concert, conducted by conductor Carlos Prazeres and solo by violinist Francisco Roa. Tickets cost between R$40 and R$5 and will be on sale at the Theater box office.

Casa da Felicidade will host the traditional Arrumadinho de Quinta, with Elili Pinheiro on September 1, at 8 pm, in Rio Vermelho. The edition will also feature Adair Sanfoneiro, DJ Preta and Dan Henriques. The artistic cover charge costs R$ 10 and must be paid at the entrance.

  • Tom Zé in the Acoustic Shell

Tom Zé presents their new album just released “Brazilian Language in the Acoustic Shell of the Castro Alves Theater (TCA), on Friday (2), at 19:00. Tickets cost between R$80 (full) and R$40 (half) and are available for purchase through the Sympla and at the TCA box office.

  • First edition of the ‘Ritual Lavender

The photographer and filmmaker Vanessa Aragão will carry out “Alfazema Virtual”, a collective photo shoot with women of different ages and professions. The first edition of the project takes place on Saturday (3), in Rio Vermelho. Spaces are limited and can be made through this link.

  • Barbecue in the Patio‘ at Casa Pia Órfãos de São Joaquim

Pátio São Joaquim hosts the first edition of “Churras no Pátio”, on Sunday (4), from 1 pm to 8 pm, at Casa Pia Órfãos de São Joaquim. The event will have 8 hours of Open Food. The entrance fee, paid on site, costs R$ 120.00 for adults and R$ 60 for children between 9 and 14 years old.

  • ‘Not if my life depended on it’- Yuri Marçal

  • Suburbia LGBTQIAP+ Parade

The 10th edition of the Subúrbio LGBTQIAP+ Parade will receive attractions such as DJ Duda Baroni, Miss Salvador Gay 2022; Loma and Rafa; Samba Ohana; The Lady; Samba Maria and dj Sasha Heels. The walk will depart from Paripe, from Praça João Martins, following Avenida Suburbana to Periperi at 2 pm.
