Actor of the series ‘Sob Pressure’, on TV Globo, confirms new works

After joining the cast of the 5th season of Sob Pressure and participating in the soap opera Pantanal, actor Alexandre Amador is already guaranteed a presence in other works. He will be in the series Encantado’s, from GloboPlay, and Impuros, from Star Plus, both of which are scheduled to premiere in 2023.

In Sob Pressure, produced by GloboPlay, Alexandre gave life to the character Ângelo, husband of nurse Lívia (Bárbara Reis). The plot of the characters brought the debate about how unemployment can trigger a series of health problems such as anxiety and depression.

“The series marked my first character building on television. And elaborating this construction within a production already consecrated by the public was a lot of responsibility, as I entered the peak of the fifth season.”, evaluates Alexandre Amador.

His love for acting began right after his first contact with theater and music, while still at the school where he studied in Rio Bonito, the city where he was born. And it was in art that he found a refuge to overcome the death of his father, murdered when the actor was only seven years old.

“I participated in choirs, drum bands and fanfares, theater and dance. My interest in theater has always been very strong and led me to seek training in Performing Arts at the Escola Municipal de Artes Maria José Guedes, in Macaé. I even completed a degree in History, but acting is my great passion.”, she comments.

Dedication and persistence have yielded good results for the actor. In Pantanal, he gave life to the employee of the photo store where Jove (Jesuíta Barbosa) revealed images of the mysterious Velho do Rio (Osmar Prado). In the fourth season of Impuros, scheduled to premiere in 2023 on Star Plus, Alexandre will play Woogie, a character who enters the dynamics of situations that tell the stories of the central character Evandro do Dendê (Raphael Logam).

Another work confirmed for next year is the series Encantado’s, in which the actor will play the journalist Mauro. Written by Renata Andrade and Thais Pontes, the comedy will have a mostly black team, with Luís Miranda and Vilma Melo as protagonists.
